WE WELCOME YOU TO A DIFFERENT KIND OF PET HOTEL! Boarding your pet
We welcome you to a different kind of pet hotel! We have designed our boarding facility to be as comfortable as possible for you pet. Each guest has at least 30-40 minutes of one on one time with a staff member. They are on an outdoor potty schedule designed to keep them comfortable. This also enables the staff to keep their rooms clean. Only the highest quality foods are served and water bowls are always clean and full. Beds, in floor heating, and air conditioning keep guests at ease and healthy.
Our goal is always to make a true home away from home for your pet. When you know they are happy coming to stay with us, your vacation can be worry free.
Rates
We accept checks, cash, Visa, and Master Card
Dogs: $ 20.00 per day
2 dogs / 1room : $30.00 per day
Cats: $10.00 per day
2 cats / 1 room $15.00 per day.
*Payment is due in full upon check-out. NO exceptions.
*Mon.-Sat check-out time is 11:00 AM. After 11AM there will be a kennel charge for the day.
*There is always a charge for Sundays.
*There is always a charge for the day you dropped off.
*If your pet checks in Saturday and is picked up on Sunday, there is always a charge for both days.
*In the event that your pet needs medical attention, there will be a $10.00 fee for transporting your pet or samples to the vet.
Vaccination Requirements
For the health and welfare of our guests and staff, all pets must be up-to-date on all of their inoculations.
*REQUIRED - DHLPP / FCVRP and Rabies vaccines.
*RECOMMENDED - Bordatella ( kennel cough)
You must provide proof of vaccinations when checking your pet in and it must be updated yearly.
VISITORS: Visitors are always welcome during business hours. We must have permission from the owner to take any guest from the premises and the bill must be paid in full.

Large rooms: 4’x8’
Small rooms: 3’x6’ (2 side by side rooms with a door between)
Cat Rooms: Our new cat room is separate from our dogs and set up so that each cat can have some quiet petting time with a staff member or play on our cat tree.
On each door, we place your pet’s boarding record sheet. We record your pet’s eating habits, playtime, elimination, and medications.
* In-floor heating keeps our guests warm from their toes up.
*Central air conditioning in summer months.
*We supply toys, beds, food, and treats.
*You are welcome to bring anything from home you wish. Please mark belongings clearly with pet’s name.

If you prefer your own food, you are welcome to bring as much as is needed for your pet’s stay. Please mark clearly with pet’s name.
Medications:
*We can not administer any injectable medications.
*We give most oral medications at no extra fee as long as your pet will take it in food or treats.
*Please supply enough medication for your pet’s entire stay.
*Mark medication Clearly with pet’s name, type of medication, and amount given per day.
*IF MEDICATION CAN NOT BE GIVEN IN FOOD OR A TREAT THE COST WILL BE $2.00 EXTRA PER DAY.
Reservations:
Paws & Effect is blessed to have many four footed friends and their families who require our loving care. Because we have such a big extended family and they are all important to us, please be considerate when booking reservations. *Canceling a reservation as soon as plans change makes room for someone off the cancellation list. * Extending a stay may not always be possible. Please call to be sure a room will still be available. Be as considerate to others as you would hope they would be to you.
Your Pet’s Daily Schedule:
· 6:00 am - Wake up and potty time - a staff member escorts your dog to a fenced in area for a good morning pat and potty time.
· 7:00-7:30am - Breakfast is prepared and served to each guest according to diet. Water replenished, and medications are given.
· 8:00 - 10:00 - Another potty break
· 10:00 - 12:00 - Quiet time (Most are ready for a nap)
· 12:00 - 2:00- Afternoon play time / Potty Time. Each dog is taken out separately by a staff member for a snuggle, some play and potty time if needed. Everyone gets a cookie when returning to their room.
· 1:00 - 3:00 - Play time in the gym (for anyone who has required this add on service) After 12:00 potty break your dog can be taken into the gym for extra play time with a staff member.
· 3:00 - 4:00 - Dinner is served. Medications are dispensed as needed.
· 4:00 - 5:00 - Potty Break. Outside again for an after dinner break with a staff member.
· 5:00 - 8:00 - Quiet time.
· 8:00 - 9:00 pm - Night time potty outs before bed. Water is replenished for overnight and night time treats are given with a pat good night. Lights out (soft night lights remain on for those afraid of the dark)
Throughout the day your dog will go outdoors, accompanied by a staff member, at least 5 times for potty duty, playtime, and personal attention. All guests are kept busy and happy. Because of this busy schedule, pets usually go home a bit tired, but well adjusted.
The best gift for us is a returning guest, who with a wag of the tail, says “good-bye” to Mom and Dad and runs into the kennel for more fun times!
Extra Services:
Grooming: Grooming services are available Monday - Saturday.
Please ask for details.
Gym Time: One on one play time in the gym with a staff member is available seven days a week.
15 minutes - $10.00
30 minutes - $ 15.00
RULES & REGULATIONS:
All boarding cancellations and early departures must be made in advance or there will be a charge for the whole stay booked. A 24 hour notice is required in most winter months. One week notice required for peek times, including summer, February, and April breaks.
We reserve the right to refuse any dog due to aggressive behavior or illness.
If your pet becomes ill, we reserve the right to have them treated by a veterinarian.
We do not allow pets from different homes to play together unless both owners give consent.
All pets checking in must be flea free. If fleas are noted on your pet, a flea bath or treatment will be given and this charge will be added to your bill.
If your pets are boarding in the same room, we reserve the right to separate them due to any aggressive behavior. If this happens, there will be a charge for both rooms.
Reserve a room for your pet for the total amount of days needed. Extending a stay may not always be possible. Please call to be sure a room will still be available.
At Paws & Effect we will NOT
Overbook our rooms, EVER. If you have booked a room it will be available for your pet. We will not put any dog in a small vari kennel or inadequate cage for an overnight stay.
